The Nutrition-Kitchen Helper Volunteer at The Dorothy Ley Hospice helps people with life-limiting illnesses feel physically and emotionally well by preparing and serving nutritional meals and snacks. This include providing meals that promote comfort and satiety, having conversations with folks about meal selection options, and keeping the cooking space clean and safe.
Instructions and training will be provided on-site by staff. No prior experience/qualifications needed!
TIME COMMITMENT: Weekly four hour shift between 8am-12pm, 10am-2pm or 4pm-8pm.
